Welcome to CanyoningCR Adventures! By booking a tour with us, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions, which are designed to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and transparent experience. Please read them carefully.

1. Reservation and Payment

​

Reservation Confirmation:

Reservations will be confirmed once we receive a 50% deposit of the tour cost or full payment. The deposit is refundable only if the cancellation is made more than 48 hours in advance of the tour date. If the cancellation occurs within 48 hours of the tour, the deposit will not be refundable.

 

Payment Methods:
Reservations can only be made using one of the following payment methods:

• SINPE Móvil

• Bank Transfer

• PayPal
  Payment in cash may be agreed upon in advance with the CanyoningCR Adventures team.

Prices:
Prices are per person and include taxes. Group discounts may be available, depending on the agreement at the time of booking.

2. Cancellations and Refunds

​

Cancellation by the Customer:
Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance of the tour are eligible for a full refund.
Cancellations within 48 hours prior to the tour will incur a 20% penalty on the total booking amount.

 

Cancellation by CanyoningCR Adventures:
We reserve the right to cancel a tour due to unforeseen factors such as extreme weather conditions, safety risks, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, we will offer customers the following options:

• Reschedule the tour at no additional cost.

• The partial refund depends on the type of cancellation: whether it is the day before or the same day of the tour. Please see below for more details on refund options.

 

Cancellation due to weather conditions (one day before the tour):
If the tour must be canceled due to adverse weather conditions one day in advance, operational costs already incurred, such as guide coordination and equipment logistics, will be taken into account. In this case, the available options are:

• Reschedule the tour at no additional cost.

• A 70% refund of the tour cost if the customer is unable or unwilling to reschedule.

 

Cancellation on the same day due to weather conditions:
If the tour is canceled on the same day due to weather conditions, the options are:

• Reschedule the tour at no additional cost, subject to the availability of our schedule.

• A 50% refund of the tour cost due to the operational costs already incurred.

3. Safety and Participant Requirements

​

Minimum Age:
Participants must be 10 years or older and in good physical health to participate in the tour.

​

Health Conditions:
Please inform us of any relevant medical conditions (e.g., heart issues, pregnancy, back problems) that could affect your ability to safely participate in the tour. Failure to disclose relevant health conditions may result in the denial of participation.

Personal Responsibility:
All participants are expected to follow the instructions provided by the guides and use the safety equipment provided. Canyoning is an adventure activity that involves inherent risks, and by participating, customers acknowledge and assume these risks.

4. Liability Waiver

​

Waiver of Liability:
All participants will be required to sign a liability waiver before starting the tour. By signing, participants agree to release CanyoningCR Adventures and its employees from liability for any injury, accident, or damage that occurs during the tour, to the extent permitted by law.

5. Photography and Media

​

Permission to Photograph:
CanyoningCR Adventures may take photos and videos during the tours for promotional purposes. By participating, you consent to the use of these media. If you prefer not to be photographed, please notify us in advance.

​

Use of Media:
Customers will receive access to the professional photos taken during the tour. These images are for personal use only and may not be used for commercial purposes without explicit permission from CanyoningCR Adventures.

6. Code of Conduct

​

Respect for Nature:
We operate in protected natural areas, and we ask participants to respect the wildlife, vegetation, and minimize the environmental impact.

Behavior:
CanyoningCR Adventures reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who exhibits dangerous or disruptive behavior. The safety and well-being of all participants are our priority.

7. Privacy Policy

Data Protection:
Personal information collected during the booking process will be used only for tour organization and safety purposes. We will not share your information with third parties without your explicit consent, and all information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Modifications to Terms

​

Right to Modify:
CanyoningCR Adventures reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated through our website or directly to customers when necessary.
